By Car from NYC: Stony Brook University is situated on an 1,100 acre site on the north shore of Long Island in southeastern New York. We are approximately 60 miles east of New York City. Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE, I-495) eastbound from the Queens Midtown Tunnel in Manhattan or the Throgs Neck Bridge or Whitestone Bridge in Queens to exit 62 Nicholls Road. Follow Nicolls Road (Route 97) north for 9.7 miles to Rt. 347 (Nesconset Highway). Make a left turn onto Nesconset Highway. In about .8 miles make a right turn (north) onto Stony Brook Road. There is a Hess gas station and Duane Reade Drug Store on the corner. Go north exactly 1.9 miles to CEWIT building entrance on west (left) side of road. We are in Room 161.

By Car from Eastern Long Island: Go to Exit 62 (Nicholls Road). Follow Nicolls Road (Route 97) north for 9.7 miles to Rt. 347 (Nesconset Highway). Make a left turn onto Nesconset Highway. In about .8 miles make a right turn (north) onto Stony Brook Road. There is a Hess gas station and Duane Reade Drug Store on the corner. Go north exactly 1.9 miles to CEWIT building entrance on west (left) side of road. We are in Room 161.
